Back Waiter

Responsibilities

• Support the seamless execution of fine dining service by maintaining the flow and rhythm of the dining room
• Assist with dining room setup, including linens, glassware, silverware, and tabletop details
• Deliver and clear food courses in coordination with the Captain and kitchen following Forbes 5-star standards
• Accurately mark tables with appropriate flatware and glassware prior to each course
• Maintain water service and refill beverages promptly and discreetly
• Reset and flip tables post-departure with high attention to detail and speed
• Maintain clean and organized service stations and guest areas throughout the shift
• Support Captains with guest needs and respond quickly to requests during service

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in casual restaurant service OR 2+ years of experience as a back waiter in a Forbes 5-star or Michelin-level environment
• Ability to work full-time (30-35 hours per week) including weekends, late nights, and holidays
• Strong sense of urgency, organization, and situational awareness
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Valid Food Handler’s Card
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically and mentally demanding environment
