About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverage in a timely and professional manner
- Use suggestive selling techniques for food and beverage
- Attend daily pre-meal tastings and pre-shift meetings
- Greet guests, take orders, and serve requests promptly
- Check with guests during meals to ensure satisfaction
- Handle guest checks and process proper payments
- Assist in clearing and setting up tables before, during, and after service
- Communicate guest comments or complaints to the manager
- Adhere to Colorado liquor laws regarding minors and intoxicated guests
Requirements
- At least 1 year of restaurant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with Forbes 5-Star standards and procedures
- Basic knowledge of wine, food, and cooking methods
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and adaptability to changing environments
