Back Office Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Work alongside software engineers, risk management, accounting, and traders to provide real-time and batch processing of data
• Generate daily reports for the firm and traders using overnight data
• Design and implement database schemas to facilitate efficient data processing
• Monitor daily jobs to ensure the timely dissemination of vital information
• Ensure the flow of real-time trade data to provide accurate intraday position and trade data to risk management and traders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline
• 2+ years of professional experience developing data processing software
• Proficiency in Python, preferably within a Linux environment
• Experience with SQL and database schema design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with C# and C++ on Linux
• Domain knowledge in the trading of futures, options, equities, treasuries, or crypto
