About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables using broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers
  • Skillfully cook and sauté dishes per recipes to ensure consistency and high-quality output
  • Chop, slice, and prepare ingredients for prep, line, and sautéed dishes
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstations, including grills, fryers, and refrigeration equipment
  • Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations for smooth service
  • Follow proper plate presentation, garnish setup, and portion control
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly according to safety standards
  • Assist in food prep during off-peak periods and follow kitchen closing checklists

Requirements

  • Experience in kitchen preparation and/or cooking
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours)
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40+ pounds
  • Strong communication skills with managers and team members
  • Passion for food and a positive attitude
