Back-End Java Spring Boot Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure banking applications
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
• Utilize Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and Hibernate for back-end development
• Implement microservices architecture and ensure efficient inter-service communication
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, and business analysts
• Ensure application security and compliance with banking industry regulations
• Optimize and troubleshoot system performance, database queries, and APIs
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices

Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of experience in Java back-end development, preferably in the banking or financial domain
• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot framework
• Proven experience with Microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and message queues such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
• Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks including Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, or Gradle
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
