Back-end Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build website back-ends and create website architecture
• Write efficient back-end code and build PHP Laravel modules
• Generate custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Manage website back-end including database and server integration
• Troubleshoot application and code issues using debugging tools
• Integrate data storage solutions and respond to front-end integration requests
• Monitor live website performance and update features to enhance performance

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in PHP Laravel and WordPress development
• Strong knowledge of PHP Laravel web frameworks
• Proficiency with WordPress and WooCommerce development
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• Ability to work onsite in Kolkata

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating scalable applications
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills
• Ability to join immediately or within a 10-day notice period
• Previous experience specifically within the IT and Web Solutions industry
