Back End Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and databases
• Build scalable systems capable of handling high volumes of requests and data
• Implement security and data protection best practices across all services
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Manage database schemas, queries, and migrations using SQL and NoSQL databases
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Contribute to code reviews, system architecture, and technical documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or Software Engineer
• Proficiency in at least one back-end language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby
• Strong knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and security principles
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
