Back End Developer (Python)

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize high-performance applications, APIs, and services
• Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs
• Integrate data storage solutions and manage system integrations
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Prepare technical and procedural documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhance project functionality

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in Python
• Experience with APIs and FastAPI, including third-party tool integrations
• Knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases
• Working knowledge of Azure SDK for Python (azure-identity, azure-data-tables, azure-keyvault-secrets)
• Experience with containers, microservices, and serverless functions
• Understanding of Kubernetes architecture and design concepts
• Proficient with Git for code versioning
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React
• Experience integrating with third-party payment APIs such as Stripe, PayPal, Adyen, or Moneris
