Back-end Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced backend services, APIs, and worker services for global web-based platforms
• Design and maintain backend systems for clothing content management and collaboration platforms like CLO-SET and CONNECT
• Improve backend system operations and development methods to enhance user experience
• Optimize development environments and code to increase work efficiency
• Collaborate with frontend and other departments to design high-quality global platform functionalities

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, JPA, Core Web API)
• Experience developing and operating RESTful APIs or daemon services
• Experience working with Relational Databases (RDBs) such as MSSQL
• Strong, clear, and flexible communication skills for cross-team collaboration
• Must be a citizen of India
• Must be located in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru
• Fluent English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD, test code writing, and deployment automation
• Experience with search services using ELK stack
• Experience with workflow platforms such as Airflow
• Experience with service monitoring and tuning using Datadog
• Experience with NoSQL data stores like MongoDB or data streaming platforms like Kafka
• A proactive mindset for learning and applying new technologies
