Bachelor or Master Student - Facility Management

Responsibilities

• Conduct an inventory of digital energy systems, including analyzing existing monitoring systems (e.g., LoRaWAN, Grafana) and documenting data flows and interfaces.
• Evaluate current building automation (KNX) in office buildings, assessing control logic, interfaces, and expansion possibilities.
• Develop a solution concept for a unified or compatible system architecture, considering scalability, cost-efficiency, and cybersecurity.
• Create a 5-year roadmap defining short-, medium-, and long-term measures for energy monitoring and potential savings.
• Propose innovative ideas and benchmark state-of-the-art energy management and automation systems.
• Develop a concept for digital document management of technical building plans, including versioning and digitalization options.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Facility Management, Energy/Building Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong interest in energy, sensor technology, and automation systems.
• Technical understanding of modern IoT technologies and building automation.
• Structured, independent, and analytical working style.
• Ability to develop complex concepts and drive innovation.
