Jetconnect is a 100% owned subsidiary business of Qantas. With the Jetconnect head office located in Auckland and crew bases in both Auckland and Wellington, we employ more than 650 people across New Zealand to provide Cabin Crew, Pilots and other aviation services to the Qantas Group.

Responsibilities

• Support the Captain in delivering safe, efficient operations
• Provide outstanding service for passengers
• Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and training
• Represent the Qantas brand with pride

Requirements

• 1,500 hours total flight time in an aeroplane
• 500 hours powered fixed-wing multi-engine or single-engine turbine time
• 250 hours command on fixed-wing aircraft OR 250 hours command (up to 180 hours ICUS) and 500 hours as co-pilot on a transport category aircraft
• Australian CASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A)
• CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D/3D Instrument Approach endorsements
• Current MEA Instrument Proficiency Check
• Level 6 English Language Proficiency on CASA licence
• Current CASA Class 1 Medical
• Eligibility for ASIC (Australia) and AvSec (NZ) security clearances
• Valid passport with at least 12 months’ validity
• Legal right to live and work in New Zealand
