About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a hunter to create new accounts by selling high-value software and IT infrastructure services
- Conduct consultative selling, prepare sales proposals, and handle complex negotiations
- Interact with OEM sales teams (such as IBM and Microsoft) to jointly build leads and meet targets
- Qualify prospects and manage high-value, long sales cycle deals
- Engage with senior IT leadership including VPs, CIOs, and CISOs
- Perform local and intercity travel as required for business development
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of high-value software or IT infrastructure
- Proven track record of selling software such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Dynatrace, or New Relic
- Experience selling to the BFSI and manufacturing segments
- Established connections with senior IT teams in customer environments
- Technical knowledge of IT Security, automation, RPA, ITOps, and API Management
- Experience selling IBM or Microsoft software products
- Ability to work as an individual performer and quickly learn new technologies
