B2 - Certifying Engineer - Line Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Carry out and supervise Line Maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft, focusing on avionics and electrical systems
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and component replacement to ensure aircraft serviceability
• Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards
• Sign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of authorization
• Manage the safety of assigned maintenance tasks and ensure all mandatory precautions are taken
• Provide supervision and guidance to Technicians assigned to support maintenance tasks
• Maintain awareness of maintenance costs by minimizing waste of materials and avoiding unnecessary repeat work

Requirements

• EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance License
• Airbus A320 maintenance approvals
• At least 2 years of experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family
• At least 5 years of experience in a Base or Line Maintenance environment
• In-depth knowledge of airframe and engine systems
• Proficiency in English for technical communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain a UAE driving license
