B1 - Certifying Engineer - Line Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Carry out, supervise, and certify Line Maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft within the scope of CAR 66 B1 licence authorisation.
• Perform scheduled aircraft maintenance, inspections, defect troubleshooting, and rectification in accordance with approved manuals.
• Sign off maintenance tasks and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage the safety of assigned tasks, ensuring all mandatory precautions and human factors are addressed.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Technicians assigned to support maintenance tasks.
• Maintain cost awareness by minimizing waste of materials and avoiding unnecessary repeat work.

Requirements

• Holds or has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Valid company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320.
• At least 2 years of experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Line Maintenance environment.
• In-depth knowledge of airframe and engine systems.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) for technical communications.
• Ability to obtain a UAE driving license and an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
