B1 - Certifying Engineer

Responsibilities

• Carry out and supervise Line/Base-level maintenance tasks on Air Arabia and third-party aircraft within the CAR 66 ‘B1’ License Category.
• Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to assigned task cards, ensuring correct use of documentation, parts, tools, and GSE.
• Perform aircraft test and inspection tasks to identify and record defects or damage in accordance with approved procedures.
• Execute defect troubleshooting and rectification following Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering Department instructions.
• Sign off maintenance tasks performed or supervised within the scope of personal authorization.
• Manage safety protocols and human factors during maintenance to protect personnel and ensure task continuity.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Technicians assigned to support maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Holds or has held an EASA Part 66 & DGAC B1 Aircraft Maintenance License.
• Holds company maintenance approvals on the Airbus A320.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Line/Base Maintenance environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted DGAC B1 Category License.
• Ability to obtain a Moroccan driving license.
• Commitment to removing any license limitations within 9 months of induction.
