Azure Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Azure subscriptions and landing zones
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
• Implement secure networking and access control models
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance
• Monitor infrastructure health and optimize costs
• Enforce Azure Policies and governance standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support cloud-native workloads
• Maintain documentation and architectural standards

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM)
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI)
• Solid understanding of Azure Networking, Compute services, and Storage
• Experience with Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery strategies
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Good understanding of cloud governance, policies, and cost management
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AKS in production
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container networking
• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent)
