Azure Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure core networking infrastructure, including virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
• Manage hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN and ExpressRoute to ensure secure connections between on-premises and Azure environments
• Configure and support application delivery services, including Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, and Traffic Manager
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to automate Azure network deployments
• Secure cloud network environments by deploying firewalls, network security groups, and other security controls
• Proactively monitor Azure network environments to identify issues and maintain performance and availability
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues across Azure and hybrid environments

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a network engineering role at an enterprise level
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups
• 3+ years of experience developing and managing infrastructure using Terraform
• 2+ years of experience supporting hybrid connectivity solutions such as VPN and ExpressRoute
• 2+ years of experience configuring load balancers, application gateways, or traffic management solutions in the cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience implementing network security controls, including firewalls and network segmentation
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting complex networking issues in cloud or hybrid environments
• Industry certifications such as Azure Network Engineer Associate or Terraform Associate
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
