Azure DevOps Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and highly available Azure cloud architectures
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring and alerting frameworks using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices focusing on system reliability and performance
• Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure deployment and configuration management
• Architect and manage .NET microservices for SaaS applications
• Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring frameworks for microservices
• Create and enforce security standards for Azure cloud environments
• Provide technical leadership in incident response and root cause analysis
• Mentor junior team members and evaluate emerging technologies

Requirements

• 8+ years in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related roles
• 5+ years specializing in Azure cloud
• Strong experience managing .NET microservices as SaaS applications
• Proficiency in Azure services including AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps
• Expertise in monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes and Docker
• Proven track record implementing SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of Site 24x7 and Azure Workbooks
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert certifications
