Azure Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and provide strategic input from a data perspective
• Analyze underlying data structures and data flow patterns
• Build simple to complex pipelines and dataflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Implement modules featuring robust security and authorization frameworks
• Implement data visualization and traditional reporting solutions using Power BI
• Adapt to evolving processes as project size and functions change

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Development
• Expert knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Power BI
• Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL DB and Synapse Analytics
• Experience with Logic Apps and Azure Data Lake
• Proficiency in data modeling and database design with SQL Server best practices
• Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance in Azure
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
