Azure Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and provide strategic input from a data perspective
• Analyze underlying data structures and data flows
• Build simple to complex pipelines and dataflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Implement modules featuring robust security and authorization frameworks
• Implement data visualization and traditional reporting solutions using Power BI
• Adapt to evolving processes as projects grow in size and function

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Development
• Expert knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Power BI
• Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL DB, Synapse Analytics, and Logic Apps
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, SQL Databases, and Stream Analytics
• Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and SQL Server best practices
• Knowledge of Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI and data governance in Azure
• Understanding of master data management, data warehousing, and BI architecture
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
