Azure Cloud Engineering & DevOps Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with security standards and organizational strategy.
• Architect and oversee the setup, governance, and optimization of Azure DevOps environments.
• Design enterprise-grade CI/CD architectures supporting on-premises, hybrid, and Azure-based solutions.
• Establish DevSecOps architecture standards by integrating security tools into delivery pipelines.
• Provide leadership on automation using Terraform or Bicep, including module design and infrastructure-as-code governance.
• Define cloud-native architectures using Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, AKS, and microservices.
• Guide teams through solution reviews, architecture governance, and cloud readiness assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–14+ years of industry experience with a strong background in cloud engineering or architecture.
• Deep expertise in Azure cloud services (PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS) including networking, identity, and security.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Proven expertise in Azure DevOps architecture, including pipelines and branching strategies.
• Strong background in designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with modern frameworks (Angular/React, .NET) and NoSQL technologies (Cosmos DB, MongoDB).

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear architectural documentation and client presentations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and providing technical mentorship.
• Proven ability to conduct cloud assessments and define transformation roadmaps.
• Experience working within Agile, SAFE, or similar enterprise delivery methodologies.
