Azure Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer resources within the Azure environment to ensure performance, security, and compliance
• Create, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure IaaS and PaaS resources
• Configure and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop
• Migrate servers from on-premises and other cloud platforms to Microsoft Azure
• Install, configure, and administer Windows Server
• Troubleshoot Windows domain and operating system errors
• Provide end user training, support, and second/third-level application support
• Document procedures, user guides, and troubleshooting instructions
• Perform system audits and participate in daily team meetings

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS resources
• Windows Server administration experience
• Networking knowledge including LAN, WAN, VPN, and VLAN troubleshooting
• Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell or Terraform
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and error resolution

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305)
• Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices
• Knowledge of Azure backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
