Azure Cloud Consultant

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud transformation initiatives by identifying and applying best-in-class cloud technologies.
• Manage cloud account lifecycles across multiple hyperscalers while ensuring compliance with security and FinOps practices.
• Support internal customer projects by defining cloud architectures and providing engineering expertise.
• Design and implement cloud-based solutions, including MVPs and proofs of concept.
• Develop reusable components and building blocks to accelerate cloud adoption across the organization.
• Drive community activities such as workshops and Cloud Community Days to enable the cloud community.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Foundational knowledge of core Azure services (e.g., Virtual Machines, Storage, IAM, AKS).
• Practical knowledge of IaaS/PaaS concepts and Azure-based architecture.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or TypeScript).
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud setups.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Azure architecture best practices for containerized workloads and data solutions.
• Experience in customer-centric solutions consulting and project management.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud security principles and Azure security services.
