Azure Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones aligned to CAF and Well-Architected principles
• Lead cloud migration programs including on-premises-to-Azure and cloud-to-cloud scenarios
• Architect Zero Trust models with Microsoft Entra ID and define security blueprints using Defender for Cloud and Sentinel
• Build modular IaC frameworks using Terraform or Bicep and design CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Design observability platforms, BCDR solutions, and lead FinOps optimization efforts
• Lead discovery workshops, design sessions, and provide technical mentorship to delivery engineers
• Contribute to pre-sales activities including solution scoping and SOW definition

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering Azure solutions
• Proven experience leading Azure migration programs and enterprise Landing Zone delivery
• Solid IaC experience with Terraform and/or Bicep
• Strong Azure networking fundamentals (Hub-and-Spoke, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID, Azure security services, and AVD
• Proficiency in PowerShell and Azure CLI; Python is a plus
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 migrations
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform (Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, Purview)
• Experience with AKS/Kubernetes and cloud data platforms (SQL MI, Cosmos DB, Fabric)
• Microsoft Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
