Azure Administrator

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud resources on Microsoft Azure
• Implement and manage virtual networks, storage accounts, VMs, and other Azure services
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations for critical Azure resources
• Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and threat protection
• Automate cloud operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates
• Implement and manage backup strategies and Azure Site Recovery
• Monitor and optimize Azure usage to manage costs effectively
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to design cloud solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security)
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI
• Familiarity with cloud governance, cost management, and security best practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
