Ayudante de Mantenimiento

Responsibilities

• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for store equipment and facilities
• Identify and report failures or anomalies in machinery and systems
• Assist in the installation and repair of basic electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas and tool storage
• Comply with established company safety and hygiene standards
• Support the management and control of maintenance materials and tools
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize response times and processes

Requirements

• Completed secondary education (Secundaria terminada) or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general maintenance
• Basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and mechanics
• Proficiency in handling manual and electric tools
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards
• Physical condition to perform manual labor and work at heights
• Ability to work in a team and under supervision
• Availability for full-time, on-site work

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance in retail stores or commercial settings
• Certification or training in industrial or electrical maintenance
• Ability to interpret simple blueprints and diagrams
• Basic knowledge of maintenance control systems
