Ayudante de Cocina

Responsibilities

• Support basic food preparation including washing, disinfecting, chopping, and portioning
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including utensils and equipment
• Assist the chef or cook with daily food production
• Receive and store supplies in accordance with hygiene standards
• Manage food labeling and rotation using the PEPS (First In, First Out) method
• Assist with dish plating and presentation when required
• Perform washing of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma (Bachillerato) preferred
• One year of experience in a kitchen or similar role preferred
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and handling standards
