Responsibilities

• Unload shipments arriving from local and foreign routes manually or via conveyor belt without damaging cargo.
• Scan all unloaded shipments using the Optical Reader (LOP) to ensure accurate electronic tracking.
• Classify packages and envelopes according to routing labels or service guides.
• Consolidate envelopes into mail bags based on their destination to meet delivery commitments.
• Direct shipments, packages, and bags to the correct local or foreign routes.
• Load air and land containers manually or via conveyor belt.
• Stack and secure cargo (Estiba) within containers following company guidelines to prevent damage.
• Secure containers using nets, bars, tarps, and protective equipment to ensure safe transport.
• Participate in internal training sessions regarding operational cycles and shipment care.

Requirements

• Experience in loading and unloading cargo (Carga y descarga).
• Proficiency in using optical scanners (Escáner LOP).
• Ability to perform package classification (Clasificación de paquetes).
• Knowledge of cargo stacking and securing (Estiba).
• Ability to perform physically demanding operational work (Trabajo operativo).
