AWS Security Risk Specialist

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments across security controls to ensure readiness with external compliance obligations
• Document risk governance processes and develop security risk documentation
• Review evidence required to illustrate key controls across the AWS environment
• Communicate operational processes and control implementations to key stakeholders and leadership
• Dive deep into the AWS control environment to develop technical understanding of control activities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to field and address requests within security, risk, and compliance functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of security-related professional experience
• 2+ years of experience with process improvement procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of regulatory and risk management experience
• Experience in auditing, risk management, compliance, program management, or quality management systems
• Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings
