AWS Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure following industry best practices
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for multi-account environments
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness for automated deployments
• Implement robust IAM policies, security controls, and compliance standards
• Design and configure VPC networking, including subnets, routing, and security groups
• Manage container orchestration solutions using ECS and EKS
• Identify and proactively address infrastructure risks and performance bottlenecks
• Provide technical expertise in estimating and planning infrastructure projects

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services at scale
• 4+ years of experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD platforms (Harness, Jenkins, or GitLab CI)
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Deep understanding of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
• Strong expertise in AWS core services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, and IAM
• Ability to work onsite in Bangalore or Hyderabad on a 3 pm to 12 am IST schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Developer (CKAD)
• Experience with SRE practices and Chaos Engineering
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
