About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure following industry best practices
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for multi-account environments
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Harness for automated deployments
- Implement IaC solutions for container orchestration using ECS and EKS, as well as Lambda services
- Manage VPC networking, including subnets, routing, and security groups
- Implement robust IAM policies, security controls, and compliance standards
- Identify and proactively address infrastructure risks and performance bottlenecks
- Provide technical expertise in estimating and planning infrastructure projects
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services at scale
- 6+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design
- 4+ years of experience with Terraform
- 4+ years of experience with Harness or similar CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Deep expertise in AWS core services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and VPC
- Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes architecture and operations
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of AWS cost optimization and FinOps practices
