AWS Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS-based applications and solutions
• Utilize AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Step Functions
• Build and maintain ETL/data integration workflows using AWS Glue
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
• Ensure security best practices regarding IAM, encryption, and compliance
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance using CloudWatch
• Integrate with external APIs and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as an AWS Developer or Cloud Engineer
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ETL/data processing
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of AWS security, networking, and SQL/database management
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Ability to reside within the continental US
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Developer Associate or Solutions Architect certifications
• Experience in healthcare or federal environments
• Familiarity with ETL tools, REST APIs, and SaaS integrations (ServiceNow, Jira, Pega)
• Experience with big data, machine learning, or legacy system support
• Familiarity with x12 and healthcare transactions related to claims processing
