Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions using AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data models and architectures for the BFSI industry.
• Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Implement data security and compliance measures to protect sensitive BFSI data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues to ensure availability and reliability.
• Manage project timelines and delegate tasks to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience with hands-on PySpark, Airflow, and AWS.
• Advanced SQL and PySpark expertise.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts (DW, Data Lake, OLTP vs OLAP).
• API development experience, preferably in Python.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Hudi, Iceberg, or Delta Lake.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of Data Engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Spark.
• Familiarity with BFSI industry data standards and security protocols.
