About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with application development teams to understand deployment patterns and operational requirements
  • Support customers in deploying and operating applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies
  • Provide guidance on AWS best practices for scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities impacting customer experience
  • Coordinate with platform, security, and operations teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders through regular status updates and success reviews
  • Advocate for customer needs while maintaining platform standards and governance

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud engineering
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services at scale
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
  • 3+ years of experience with Harness or similar CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Deep expertise in AWS core services including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, and IAM
  • Strong understanding of container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer certification
  • Experience with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, or Redshift
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Chaos Engineering practices
  • Prior experience working in financial services or highly regulated industries
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban
