AWS Cloud Network Specialist, AVP

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable VPC topologies, including multi-tier subnet designs and transit hub-and-spoke models.
• Design and manage AWS Transit Gateway deployments and implement AWS Cloud WAN for global network management.
• Develop hybrid connectivity solutions using AWS Direct Connect and AWS Site-to-Site VPN.
• Manage DNS and service discovery using Amazon Route 53 and AWS Cloud Map.
• Enforce network segmentation and security using security groups, network ACLs, and VPC endpoints.
• Automate network infrastructure and operations using Terraform, Python (boto3), and AWS CLI.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues across VPCs, Transit Gateways, and on-premises networks.

Requirements

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty (ANS-C01) is mandatory.
• 13+ years of total IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud networking, with at least 3 years focused specifically on AWS.
• Deep expertise in VPC architecture, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity (Direct Connect/VPN).
• Proven experience with AWS Cloud WAN and Network Manager in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Solid understanding of BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Experience operating in AWS Control Tower or multi-account Organizations environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.
• AWS Developer Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate certifications.
• AWS Security Specialty certification.
