AWS Cloud & Infrastructure Architect

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage production-grade AWS environments including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Lambda
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions with a focus on high availability and disaster recovery
• Manage and optimize hybrid infrastructure involving both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to drive zero-touch provisioning and configuration management
• Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM least privilege, network segmentation, and encryption
• Maintain full-stack monitoring, define SLAs/SLOs, and lead incident response and root cause analysis
• Support DevOps practices by enabling CI/CD pipelines and managing containerized workloads via Kubernetes/EKS

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in Systems or Infrastructure Engineering
• Proven, hands-on experience building and operating real-world AWS environments
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional preferred)
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (L3/L4/L7) and security/identity management
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, network, storage, and security layers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Hands-on Oracle Database administration (RAC, Data Guard, RMAN)
• Experience with AWS managed databases such as RDS and Aurora
• Exposure to media, OTT, or high-traffic platform environments
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Nutanix
