AWS Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects to analyze emerging regulatory, customer, and third-party security requirements.
• Distill complex and ambiguous technical problems into core elements and actionable business requirements.
• Identify and engage subject matter experts across technical and non-technical disciplines to define potential solutions.
• Scope the cost, technical, and operational impact of proposed security and compliance solutions.
• Develop data-driven recommendations and craft clear written and verbal communications for stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Manage the lifecycle of mitigation and implementation plans for AWS infrastructure, services, and products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, or risk/loss prevention.
• Strong research and investigation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously in an ambiguous environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives.
• Proven experience in program or project management.
• Experience handling highly confidential information.
