Awning Fabric Seamstress

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce and assemble materials according to specifications
• Use power and manual tools safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
• Handle and move materials, including lifting up to 55 lbs independently and up to 80 lbs with a team
• Maintain organization of workspace, tools, and production materials
• Follow production schedules while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Collaborate with team members to meet quality and productivity goals
• Perform basic computer tasks related to production tracking or reporting
• Work in a plant environment with non-climate-controlled conditions

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sewing
• Hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines
• Proficiency with power and manual tools
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Physical capability to meet lifting and standing requirements
• Basic computer proficiency
• Comfort working in a non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment
