About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the end-to-end business strategy for the SME/Retail segment focused on scalable and low-cost acquisition, engagement, and monetization
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with platforms like Zoho, Wix, BigCommerce, Shopify, and key players like YourStory and IndiaMART
- Develop innovative GTM strategies to drive customer conversion, improve retention, and increase ARPU through value-added SaaS offerings
- Drive sales on leads and base provided by the marketing and sales teams
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Tech teams to improve the SME customer segment experience
- Drive product penetration within the existing company base
- Enter partnerships with enterprises and banks to offer solutions to prospect userbases
- Maintain strong ecosystem relationships and act swiftly on business opportunities
- Collect customer feedback to inform product upgrades
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in driving sales
- Strong background in building or scaling SME-focused businesses
- Sales experience coupled with a solutioning mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage financial aspects of accounts to ensure growth and profitability
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Payments or Fintech experience
- Prior experience in companies such as Shopify, Zoho, Wix, BigCommerce, or Razorpay
- Experience driving a business vertical
