About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the end-to-end business strategy for the SME/Retail segment focused on scalable and low-cost acquisition, engagement, and monetization
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with platforms like Zoho, Wix, BigCommerce, Shopify, and key players like YourStory and IndiaMART
  • Develop innovative GTM strategies to drive customer conversion, improve retention, and increase ARPU through value-added SaaS offerings
  • Drive sales on leads and base provided by the marketing and sales teams
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Tech teams to improve the SME customer segment experience
  • Drive product penetration within the existing company base
  • Enter partnerships with enterprises and banks to offer solutions to prospect userbases
  • Maintain strong ecosystem relationships and act swiftly on business opportunities
  • Collect customer feedback to inform product upgrades

Requirements

  • At least 12 years of experience in driving sales
  • Strong background in building or scaling SME-focused businesses
  • Sales experience coupled with a solutioning mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage financial aspects of accounts to ensure growth and profitability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Payments or Fintech experience
  • Prior experience in companies such as Shopify, Zoho, Wix, BigCommerce, or Razorpay
  • Experience driving a business vertical
