AVP, Undergraduate Admissions

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational management for undergraduate recruitment, admissions, and enrollment goals.
• Translate institutional mission and strategic priorities into data-informed recruitment plans to attract a diverse student body.
• Oversee domestic and international recruitment, admissions operations, new student orientation, and enrollment events.
• Manage prospective student marketing and communications across digital, email, and print channels.
• Cultivate partnerships with academic deans and college leadership to align outreach and messaging.
• Use market intelligence and enrollment data to develop forward-looking projections and recruitment strategies.
• Lead and develop a high-performing admissions team focused on customer service and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in higher education administration, business, marketing, or a related field.
• Eight (8) years of progressive experience in higher education enrollment operations, planning, and management.
• Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience with CRM systems, specifically Slate (Technolutions), for recruitment and reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and electronic document/records management platforms.
• Experience directing prospective student marketing and communications campaigns.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet University driving eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience recruiting in Northeast Ohio or the Great Lakes region.
• Experience with international student recruitment strategy and partnership development.
• Experience serving first-generation, non-traditional, and diverse student populations.
• Advanced experience applying data analytics and predictive modeling to enrollment outcomes.
• Familiarity with IPEDS data, FAFSA analytics, and financial aid packaging strategies.
