AVP-Sourcing (Market Data)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Global Category Lead for all Market Data and Data Licensing agreements enterprise-wide
• Lead end-to-end sourcing for supplier agreements across Market Data and other Data Licensing categories
• Analyze Market Data spend and create a comprehensive Category Strategy to optimize consumption across business units
• Execute strategic sourcing events including RFPs, RFIs, and targeted negotiations with key suppliers
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to advise stakeholders on data licensing structures, usage rights, and compliance
• Proactively manage the Market Data renewal pipeline in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Technology, and Data Governance teams
• Leverage analytics, automation, and AI to improve sourcing efficiency and decision-making

Requirements

• 7–10 years of Procurement Sourcing experience
• Deep expertise in the Market Data category with a strong track record of negotiating data licensing agreements
• Experience with Market Data Management Inventory systems
• Proven ability to manage complex, enterprise-scale negotiations and executive-level relationships
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college/university
• Strong analytical skills to forecast demand and model costs from diverse data sources

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and interest in using AI tools to drive process efficiency
• Experience balancing cost and risk targets to achieve organizational objectives
