About the role

About the Company

Piper Serica VC Fund is a $40M early-stage venture capital fund launched in 2022. Managed by Mumbai-based Piper Serica, the firm oversees ₹1,300 Cr in assets across PMS, offshore FPI, and angel investments, targeting revenue-generating tech startups in sectors like semiconductor, spacetech, AI, and robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the build of AuM across PMS, AIF, Offshore Fund, and other investment products
  • Develop relationships with large national distributors and direct clients including UHNI and Family Offices
  • Identify and onboard appropriate national distributors and HNI investors
  • Drive business development and end-to-end ownership of sales tasks
  • Establish strong controls and relationships with existing and new investors
  • Guide and manage the sales team to ensure organizational targets are achieved
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the company at various events
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and certification requirements

Requirements

  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional degree
  • 6-7+ years of experience in the Financial or Banking industry
  • Proven experience with distributor life cycles and various asset classes
  • Experience in people management and leading sales teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to work independently in a demanding environment
