AVP - Ratings (CFG)

Responsibilities

• Ensure ratings accuracy for the assigned portfolio through rigorous and timely credit analysis
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant sectors and issuers within the healthcare team
• Articulate robust credit views and make recommendations to rating committees
• Build rapport with management teams and the broader marketplace to enhance brand reputation
• Publish topical, thought-leading, and transparent research reports
• Collaborate internally to coach junior associates and develop their credit skills
• React promptly to new developments and market events

Requirements

• 6+ years of substantial credit and financial analysis experience
• Strong technical skills in accounting, financial statement analysis, and cash flow-based analysis
• Proficiency in analyzing capital structures and debt documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build professional relationships at all levels, including the C-suite
• Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred
• Experience in healthcare sector coverage
