AVP of Trading

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across equities, options, and fixed income.
• Perform day-to-day trading operations including trade allocation, position settlement, and reconciliation.
• Utilize Bloomberg or other institutional trading platforms for efficient trade execution.
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and Market Makers to ensure best execution and fund efficiencies.
• Partner with the Investment and Portfolio Management teams to enhance trading processes and procedures.
• Work closely with the Operations Team to build solutions that enable effective transaction execution.
• Monitor market trends, economic developments, and trading strategies to ensure adherence to fund objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience trading equities, options, and fixed income, with a strong emphasis on options.
• Proven experience in institutional or RIA trading environments.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg or similar institutional trading platforms.
• Very high level of competency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and complex trading strategies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Order Management Systems (OMS) and post-trade processing.
• Experience working for a firm that manages 40 Act products.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to trading activities.
