AVP of Trading

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage trades across equities, options, and fixed income
• Perform day-to-day trading operations including trade allocation, position settlement, and reconciliation
• Utilize Bloomberg or other institutional trading platforms for efficient execution
• Collaborate with Prime Brokers and Market Makers to ensure best execution and fund efficiencies
• Partner with the Investment and Operations teams to enhance trading processes and build effective operational solutions
• Monitor market trends, economic developments, and trading strategies to ensure adherence to fund objectives
• Maintain a relentless focus on quality and accuracy in all trading information and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business or quantitative discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• 3-5 years of experience trading equities, options, and fixed income
• Strong emphasis on option trading experience
• Proven experience in institutional or RIA trading environments
• Proficiency with Bloomberg or similar institutional trading platforms
• Very high level of competency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with order management systems (OMS) and post-trade processing
• Experience working for a firm that manages 40 Act products
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to trading activities
• Demonstrated history of solving complex financial problems
