AVP - Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate large-scale enterprise network environments and complex data center infrastructures.
• Deliver on major transformational projects including datacenter reengineering, multi-cloud rationalization, and deployments of Cisco ACI and SD-WAN.
• Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex network routing and switching issues using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and sniffers.
• Implement and manage QoS configurations for data, voice, and video deployments.
• Participate in weekend deployments, on-call rotations, and critical production issue resolution.
• Document the network environment and activities using Visio, Word, and Excel.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification is required.
• Extensive experience with Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and Cisco Nexus (7K, 9K) technologies.
• Proficiency in routing and switching protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with F5 load-balancers (LTM/GTM) and VPN concentrators.
• Practical knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience managing network infrastructure involving DMZ, DNS, and proxy services.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking certification.
• Hands-on deployment experience using Python and Ansible for network automation.
• Experience with Infoblox IP management and routine DNS changes.
• Familiarity with network management tools such as DCNM, NAE, and SolarWinds.
