AVP, IT Finance & Partner Management

Responsibilities

• Own $150M+ IT expense and capital budget, forecasting financial performance and aligning spending with business objectives
• Lead IT annual budget preparation, including reviews with senior finance and business executives
• Oversee IT direct spend reporting, analysis, and automation of monthly reports
• Manage and negotiate complex, multi-million dollar, multi-year technology contracts including MSAs and SOWs
• Establish and enforce IT contract policy and standards to address third-party risks
• Run supplier governance forums (QBRs, MBRs) and manage key supplier metrics
• Implement and expand the IT vendor governance program and oversee Third Party Risk Management policies
• Lead and develop internal teams and cross-functional project teams

Requirements

• CPA license is required
• Minimum of bachelor's degree in a related field
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in IT financial management, vendor management, and technology operations
• At least 10 years of experience performing accounting functions and serving as Finance Controller for a complex IT organization
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience in a vendor management leadership role
• Demonstrated success leading negotiations for complex multi-million dollar technology contracts
• Experience leading and developing teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in Life/Annuity Insurance
• Experience with IT Financial Management tools, IT Showbacks, and IT Chargebacks
• Proficiency in Tableau and Alteryx
• Experience applying AI within IT financial or vendor analytics environments
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL processes
