AVP, Investment Operations (Loan Settlement)

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliation on par traded quantity and ensure trades align with counterparties
• Crosscheck trades with funding memos/Clear Par and book trade fees accurately
• Manage settlement workflows, including warehouse closings and portfolio redemption trade settlements
• Proactively research and resolve settlement and corporate action cash and par breaks with custodian banks and third-party administrators
• Direct fund administrators and custodian banks on appropriate processing and review output for accuracy
• Handle settlement-related audit requests and prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reporting
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance settlement workflows and mitigate risk
• Participate in department initiatives such as system enhancements and new business conversions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or a related discipline from an accredited university
• 10-12 years of investment management operations experience, with a heavy emphasis on bank loan operations
• Strong knowledge of fixed-income products, particularly bank loans, and cross-trade settlements
• Proficiency in Clearpar, Wall Street Office-Admin, OMS, and Geneva
• Experience working with trade settlements per LMA and LSTA standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with outsource or offshore service providers

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python, Power BI, or other automation tools
• Experience with Power BI system reporting
