AVP Consumer Loan Trading

Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders and price liquidity in various financial instruments according to trading strategies and risk parameters.
• Manage and monitor risk associated with the trading portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Support the Consumer Loan Trading desk with daily trading, risk management, P&L calculation, daily pricing, and portfolio analysis.
• Monitor global financial markets, economic indicators, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities.
• Collaborate with research analysts, middle office, credit risk, and product control teams to support trading book activities.
• Perform complex data analysis from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems and drive business outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial services, specifically within real estate.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, and Intex Dealmaker.
• Data analytical skills with proficiency in Python or SQL.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with Sales and Research teams.
