AVP, Actuarial Pricing

Responsibilities

• Lead an actuarial team to provide quantitative and qualitative insights for the Entertainment Business Unit
• Conduct profitability reviews across various products including Auto, GL, Property, and Workers Comp
• Provide actuarial premium recommendations for large new and renewal accounts
• Monitor portfolio rate changes, pricing adequacy, and underwriting mix to support data-driven decision-making
• Perform actuarial studies and research to improve pricing parameters, methodologies, and segmentations
• Design, program, and maintain critical tools used in pricing and book monitoring
• Identify and nurture future leaders through regular coaching and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• P&C Actuarial qualifications such as ACAS, FCAS, or similar professional designations
• 8+ years of relevant experience in actuarial and quantitative analysis
• Strong proficiency in programming languages including Python, SQL, and VBA
• In-depth knowledge of underwriting, reinsurance, claims, and financial drivers
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and influence business outcomes
